AARP Chapter 632 met July 26 at 6 p.m. at the Generations Center. Don Rose, president, presided. He led the Pledge of Allegiance and Betty Ballard gave the blessing.
Birthday celebrants for the month were Liz Ashcraft, Ballard and Janet Rose. Guests were Sue Borders and the Generation Rockers.
Following a potluck supper, the Generation Rockers performed.
There will be a health fair Sept. 13 at Brooks Place from 10 a.m. to noon. AARP will have a booth.
Colista Ledford made a motion to donate $50 to benefit a local woman in need of lupus treatment. The motion was seconded and carried.
Game night was Tuesday, Aug. 7.
