Kelly E. “Ed” Barnett, 83, husband of Betty Willoughby Barnett, passed away at 11:37 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 at the Clark Regional Medical Center.
A native of Bath County, he was the son of the late Kelly E. and Rose Barnett. Kelly was a former L&N and CSX Railroad employee and a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include a son, Jeff Barnett of Winchester; two daughters, Nancy Hampton and Gloria Oldfield of Winchester; seven grandchildren, including Amanda Hampton McNeese and Jessica Barnett; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenny of Paris; a sister, Christine of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 1, at the Eastside Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe Price.
Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Barnett, Norman Hampton Jr., Willard Baker, Robert Burgess, Ernest Miller and Robert Carmichael.
Visitation will be after 11:30 a.m. Friday.
