Lightening, but little rain, hits Clark County over the weekend

Mother nature put on a fireworks show late Sunday evening with lightning brightening the skies around Winchester. The storm brought some much needed rain to parts of the county, but almost none to other parts. The multiple lightning strike was photographed looking down Harkins Drive toward Colby Road. Kentucky Mesonet, located on Van Meter Road, recorded no precipitation Sunday from the storm and a total of nine-tenths of an inch of rain for the month of June.
