Kiwanis meeting Wednesday at noon
The Winchester Kiwanis Club will meet at noon Wednesday at the Central Baptist Church Annex in Bell’s Alley to prepare for its annual radio-TV auction, scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The auction will be broadcast on Cable Channel 5, WKYN 107.7 FM and at Winchester Kiwanis.com.
Accelerated placement testing scheduled
All fifth grade students in the Clark County School System will take a qualifying test to determine accelerated placement in the middle school academic program for the upcoming school year Tuesday.
Students absent on that date may make up the test at either Clark Middle School from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday or at Conkwright Middle School from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Shearer SBDM Council meeting set
The Shearer Elementary School-based Decision-making Council will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the conference room.
Extension Council plans Thursday meeting
The Clark County Extension Council will meet at noon Thursday at the Extension Office.
Board of Adjustments to meet Thursday
The Winchester-Clark County Board of Adjustments will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Commission Chambers of City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
Special school board meeting March 5
The Clark County Board of Education is scheduled to hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 5 at the Central Office.
Edelen special guest speaker
State Auditor Adam Edelen and Jennifer Palmer of Clark Community Services will be the featured speakers at the Democratic Woman’s Club of Clark County meeting on March 4. A potluck dinner will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Clark County Public Library.
