Veteran ID driver’s license bill takes effect

Beginning Monday, veterans renewing their driver’s licenses on expiration or because of a change of address can show their DD-214 to the Clark County Circuit Court Clerk to request a “veteran” designation on their license.
The Veteran Identification Driver’s License Bill was signed into law March 29, to give veterans government recognition for their service.
 
East Clark Water meeting Monday

The East Clark County Water District Board of Commissioners will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at 118 Hopkins Lane.

Free car seat safety clinic offered

Winchester Fire-EMS will give a free car seat safety clinic Thursday, July 19 in the parking lot at College Park. The clinic begins at 6 p.m.

AARP driver safety course July 19

The Clark County Extension Service is sponsoring the AARP Driver Safety Program, with a special offer exclusively for teachers and school personnel. This one-time offer for the classroom course is just $5.
The class will be Thursday, July 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clark County Extension Office.
