Fiscal Court public meeting Thursday
There will be a public meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Winchester Elks Lodge to discuss a petition to revert the county government to the previous magistrate format.
Adult softball leagues forming
Registration for the Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation Department’s Womens Adult Fast Pitch Softball League will end Aug. 20.
There will be a coaches meeting Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. at College Park. The league will begin in September.
