Extension budget meeting Friday
The Clark County Extension District Board will have a budget meeting at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Clark County Extension Office.
Indian Old Fields program at museum
Indian Old Fields Survey Project presents a local history program, “In Search of Eskippakithiki at Indian Old Fields” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 25, at the Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 217 S. Main St. This program kicks off the survey project of the historic area funded in part by the transportation department. Survey archaeologists from University of Kentucky and Clark County historians will be available to answer questions after the program. Refreshments will be served. Tree seedling giveaway March 27
The Clark County Conservation District will be giving away tree seedlings on a first come, first serve basis at the District Office, located at 667 Tech Drive, Wednesday, March 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cypress, flowering dogwood, white oak, eastern redbud, black walnut and white pine seedlings will be available. There is a limit of approximately 20 seedlings per person.
