WMU hydrant flushing

Winchester Municipal Utilities will be flushing hydrants Monday in Clark County on Aberdeen Lane, Baker Court, Brook View Court, Casa Landa Way, Clifton Court, Damon¿Court, David Lane, Debbia Drive, Delaplain Road, Devonshire Drive, Devonshire Court, Fieldstone Way, Gilbert Court, Heather Lane, Inverness Lane, Lynnway Drive, Morgan Court, Old Boonesboro Road, Paisley Court, Rex Court, Robert Court, Shanahan Lane, Steve Court, Steve Circle, Stoney Brook Drive, The Woods Lane and Tyra Court.

Indian Old Fields program at museum

Indian Old Fields Survey Project presents a local history program, “In Search of Eskippakithiki at Indian Old Fields” at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 217 S. Main St.
This program kicks off the survey project of the historic area funded in part by the transportation department. Survey archaeologists from University of Kentucky and Clark County historians will be available to answer questions after the program. Refreshments will be served. Tree seedling giveaway Wednesday

The Clark County Conservation District will be giving away tree seedlings on a first come, first serve basis at the District Office, located at 667 Tech Drive, Wednesday, March 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cypress, flowering dogwood, white oak, eastern redbud, black walnut and white pine seedlings will be available. There is a limit of approximately 20 seedlings per person.
