Bake/craft sale benefitting Relay for Life
There will be a holiday bake and craft sale at Walmart Dec. 1 from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. as a fundraiser for Relay for Life.
Donations also will be accepted. If gifts are made in honor of someone else, cards will be mailed to the individual or their family members.

Downtown participating in Small Business Saturday
Stores in downtown Winchester will have extended hours and special pricing Saturday in honor of Small Business Saturday. Other special shopping days during the holiday season include Ladies’ Night, Dec. 6; Customer Appreciation Night, Dec. 13; and Friends and Family Night, Dec. 20.

Book sale at Clark Public Library
The Clark County Public Library will host a book sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday. For $1, customers can fill a bag provided with an unlimited number of books.
Bush/Shearer Advisory Council to meet
The Advisory Council for the Bush/Shearer Family Resource Center will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Shearer Elementary, 244 East Broadway.
