LYNN KELLY HOLLINGSWORTH
Lynn Kelly Hollingsworth, 53, of Winchester, husband of Teresa Phelps-Hollingsworth, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Hollingsworth was born in Fayette County on June 14, 1959, to Charles B. Hollingsworth and the late Evelyn May Kingsland Hollingsworth. He was the owner of Lynn's Barber Shop and a member of the New Life Assembly of God.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by five children, Brian Hollingsworth of Atlanta, Ga., Kelly "Nikki" Hollingsworth of Winchester, Shannon (Stephen) Brothers of Ashland, Jessica Phelps of Lexington and Erica (Jon) Volden of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Nate Brothers, Karana Brothers, Aubrey Volden and Zachary Volden; and his brother, Donnie (Linda) Hollingsworth of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 15, at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Dick VanHuss. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Scobee Funeral Home.
Lynn's family would like to express their appreciation to the customers of Lynn's Barber Shop, New Life Assembly of God, Rufus Cravens, Jack Crouch, Richard McDaniels, Ray, Jennifer, Adam and Andrew Peace, Jimmy and Marlene Flinchum, John and Lucille Jenks, Gordon Frazier, Pastor Steve Humble, Dwayne Roller, Tommy Riddle, Herb Marcum, Kelly Leggett, Bridges and Lane Hardware, Hospice East and many others that are too numerous to mention for their prayers and assistance during this difficult time.
