Preliminary plans for a new medical facility on Bullion Boulevard cleared the first hurdle earlier this week.
The Winchester-Clark County Planning Commission unanimously approved the submitted documents during its meeting Tuesday. The commission will vote on the final plan during its March meeting, Executive Director Rhonda Cromer said.
According to the submitted documents, an 8,317 square foot clinic will be constructed on 1.38 acres next to Brady’s Hometown Grill. The property is already zoned for business use and the lot is currently empty. Cromer said the commission’s vote will allow developers to begin grading the site, but nothing more can be done until the final plan is approved.
The plan also calls for 78 parking spaces and four handicapped parking spaces.
Brett Construction of Lexington is listed as the applicant and Mid-Bypass Land LLC¿is the property owner.
