WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged
— Manuel Bruton, 44, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence and failure to use proper signal.

Reports
— At 2:03 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 5 W. Broadway concerning an elderly man who injured himself Saturday trying to get away from a large dog.
— At 2:40 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 348 Oxford Drive after someone broke a window on the caller’s vehicle.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged
— Ralph McConnell, 55, of Campton, was charged with driving under the influence.

Reports
— Dennis Lovitt, of 126 Candlewood Drive, reported his black Ruger .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun missing. Lovitt stated that has been moving from North Carolina to Kentucky over the last month. He also stated that he does not believe the gun has been stolen, but wanted to report it missing. He started moving on Dec. 25, 2012 and noticed the firearm missing on or around Jan. 3.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, emergency personnel responded to 12 general medical calls, one cardiac case and one respiratory case.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At noon Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS¿personnel with a call at 2055 Hancock Valley Road.
— At 8:57 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to 1236 Flanagan Station Road for a chimney fire.
