— Traci L. Pattorr, 40, was charged Thursday with reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants.
— At 3:59 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 1661 Bypass Road concerning suspected shoplifters in custody.
— At 5:38 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Walmart concerning a shoplifter in custody. Christopher Scott Costello was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
— At 8:22 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 300 C.G. Stephenson Drive after the caller’s boyfriend took cash and her house key.
— At 4:39 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which Janeth Sexton of 14200 Irvine Road said she was walking through the parking lot at Dollar General when she was struck by a vehicle as it backed out of a parking space. Sexton said she tried to get out of the way and hit the trunk several times, but she was knocked to the ground by the vehicle. The driver, Ruby Wells of 124 Sterling St., said she didn’t see or hear the person until the collision occurred. Sexton was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center after complaining of back pain, hip pain and a head injury.
— At 2:17 p.m. Thursday, Julie Davis of 330 Apple St., reported that a known woman had been using her ID to purchase and register vehicles. She also said the woman used her identity in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in some serious injuries.
— At 3:05 p.m. Thursday, Brenda Sadler of 5925 Old Boonesboro Road, stated that the registration decal on her license plate had been stolen.
— On Thursday, John Bradley of 2236 Ecton Road, reported that someone broke into the home of Johnny R. Wiseman, 86, of 1120 Ecton Rd. It is believed that someone entered through the window and stole a 32-inch flat screen television. A 1998 black Dodge pickup was taken from the garage, which was locked. It is believed that the keys were inside the home and taken as well. The theft occurred between Tuesday evening and Thursday.
— At 12:23 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which a vehicle driven by William Cox, 56, of 206 Orchid Court, struck a bicyclist. Cox said he was traveling east on Colby Road and attempted to pass 53-year-old Michael Sternberger of Lexington, who was traveling in the same direction. Cox stated that he thought he gave Sternberger enough room, but Sternberger came back to the left and Cox's front bumper struck Sternberger's back wheel, causing him to turn over. Sternberger stated that he was traveling east on Colby Road when he was struck by a vehicle in the back wheel. Sternberger was transported to University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
— On Thursday at 12:22 p.m., emergency personnel responded to an injury accident on Colby Road involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.
— On Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to six general medical calls, one diabetic case and one cardiac case.
