RACHEL RANEY BUNCH
Rachel Raney Bunch, 97 ½, of Winchester, widow of Thomas Lee Garner Bunch, passed away Friday at her home.
A native of Clark County, she was born July 3, 1914, to the late Riley and Jessie Gaylord Raney.
She retired after 25 years from Renee’s Dress Shop and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas (Roberta) Bunch of Clark County; daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn (Grant) Thompson of Alaska; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Jerry Bunch, Lloyd Bunch and Robert Bunch; and two daughters, Jeanette Sowders and Carolyn Crim.
Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with the Rev. Paul Sowders officiating.
Visitation will be today from noon until the hour of services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Crim, Jackie Crim, J.T. Sowders, Jimmy Lisle, Terry Raney, Larry Raney, Donnie Goodlett and Wm. T. Bunch.
