RICHARD LEE JONES
Richard Lee Jones, 70, of Winchester, husband of Rometta Smith Jones, passed away Saturday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.
A native of Clark County, he was born July 10, 1941, to the late Floyd and Grace Barker Jones.
He was a former employee for Martek Biosciences and member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Lee Jones of Winchester; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Nelson Jones, Wilmont (Agnes) Jones and William (Linda) Jones, all of Winchester; mother and father-in-law, Mary L. and Charles T. Smith of Winchester; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Pam) Smith of Winchester, and Tom (Judy) Smith of Winter Haven, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with the Rev. Lee Cruse and Brother Todd Rader officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Jones, Wilmont Jones, William Jones, Jerry Smith, Tommy Smith and Edgar Woods.
