Winchester Fire-EMS: July 2, 2012
— During the weekend, emergency personnel conducted six local transfers and six out-of-town transfers. They also responded to eight general medical calls, six cardiac cases, four falls, two strokes, one assault, five respiratory cases, one overdose, one seizure and two engine assists.
— During the weekend, firefighters responded to three mulch fires.
— At 3:12 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 634 Frito Lane for a leaking propane tank.
— At 7:12 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 100 Early Drive after a tarp blew onto power lines.
— At 3:37 a.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to 222 Shoppers Drive for a sawdust fire.
— At 9:24 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to 18 Oliver St. for a car fire. The car was 50 percent involved when firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
— At 10:54 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 87 Tyler Banks Court, but it was a false alarm.
