Winchester native Matt Long has landed a guest role on the ABC medical drama “Private Practice,” just as the network announced the show will be ending after 13 episodes this season, likely in January.
Long will play a new doctor, James Peterson, today on the show, which is in its sixth season on the air.
The 32-year-old actor had a lead role in the 2004-05 drama “Jack and Bobby” on The WB and recently appeared in several episodes of “Mad Men” and the short-lived lawyer drama “The Deep End.”
