The 10th Region baseball tournament will begin Monday at Montgomery County High School.
In the opener at 10 a.m., Bishop Brossart (22-12) will take on Mason County (20-15-1), followed by George Rogers Clark (19-13) and Nicholas County (17-15-1) in the second game at 12:30 p.m. Bishop Brossart is the 37th District winner and the Cardinals won the 40th District championship with an exciting 5-3 triumph over Bourbon County last week.
The two winners will meet in the upper bracket semifinal at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Also on Monday, Bracken County (19-13) will play Bourbon County (25-11) at 3 p.m., followed by Harrison County (28-9) and Scott High (22-14) at 5:30 p.m.
The winners in the two lower bracket contests will play each other in the second of two semifinal games at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The finals are set for 6 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Sterling.
