Chandler English Struck out 12 and scattered three hits in five innings to lead the Orioles to a 5-2 win over the A’s in a Major League game Wednesday night at Lykins Park.
English added a single and a triple, while Jacob Fugate and Blake Pedigo added two hits apiece to pace the Orioles, who scored three runs in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie and provide the final margin.
In the other game, the Braves scored five runs in each of the last two innings in a 13-3 win over the White Sox in four innings.
Conner Gray and Logan Ramsey led the Braves with three hits apiece, including a home run by Ramsey, followed by Tyler Miles and Alex Back with two hits each. Miles and Gray combined for seven strikeouts.
Brady Doan launched a double and starting pitcher Nino Clark fanned four batters for the White Sox.
The A’s crossed the plate eight times in a 10-4 victory over the Yankees.
Josh Abrams connected on three singles, while Chance Scobee had a single and a double for the A’s. Abams and Keaton Aldridge combined for 11 strikeouts.
Isiah Noland and Jason Polley paced the Yankees with two hits each, while Polley fanned five batters in three innings.
In another one-inning rally, the Braves scored seven runs in the fifth inning and held on for a 15-14 win over the Dodgers.
Hunter Helderman and Caleb Robinson had two hits each, including a double by Robinson for the Braves.
Justin Overpeck had three hits, including a home run, followed by Elisa Case with a pair of singles for the Dodgers. Pitchers Jaylynn Johnson and Jeremiah Williams combined on 10 strikeouts for the Dodgers.

The Angels scored five runs in the first inning that set the tone in a 20-3 win over the Mariners.
Tiffani Richards had four hits, while Alexis Hardiman, Emily Harrison and Kara Flickinger followed with three hits apiece for the Angels.
Shalyn Haggard and Brittany Cohn each had a single for the Mariners.
