— The George Rogers Clark girls soccer team will have tryouts July 16-17 from 9 until 10:30 a.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. at the Cardinal Soccer Complex. Players are required to have an updated physical arrive at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of tryouts.

— The Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation is taking sign-ups for its women’s fast-pitch softball league July 1 through Aug. 20. The cost is $325 per team. A coaches meeting is set for 6 p.m. on Aug. 27 at College Park Gym. For more information, contact Todd Plummer at 744-9554.
