Basketball
— The Winchester YMCA is taking team and individual sign-ups for its summer eight-man basketball league through June 24. The league will be broken down into age groups, with a league for players in grades K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-6th, 7th-9th and 10th-12th. The cost is $30 per player or $200 per team. The league will begin on July 14 and continue for six weeks. For more information, contact the Winchester YMCA at 744-9662.
Volleyball
— The George Rogers Clark volleyball team will have tryouts July 16-18 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Each player must have a physical to try out for the team. For more information, contact coach Robyn Curry at (859) 595-9765.
Soccer
— The George Rogers Clark boys soccer team will have tryouts 4-6 p.m. on July 15 at the Cardinal Soccer Complex.
— The George Rogers Clark girls soccer team will have tryouts from 9 until 10:30 a.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. at the Cardinal Soccer Complex. Players are required to have an updated physical and arrive at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of tryouts.
